Guitarist and composer Daníel Helgason has worked and played music in Iceland and abroad for about a decade as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and a producer. His main projects have been; DÓH tríó, Los Bomboneros and Una Stef & The SP74 among others. Daníel was awarded best newcomer in Jazz and Blues at the Icelandic Music Awards in 2018. That same year he was nominated as a performer in that same category.

Here for the first time he has his own trio that plays new experimental improvised music. The concert will be held as a release concert for his first album undir his name, which was recorded last winter by Albert Finnborgason at Sundlaugin Studio.
