Iceland University of the Arts and Reykjavik Jazz have come together to initiate a dialogue about gender-related matters within the local music scene. A symposium will delve into the influence of socialization on stereotypical roles within the Icelandic jazz community and address the issue of gender imbalance.

Presentations and panel discussion will be in Icelandic for the most part.

Location: Ríma in Harpa (a room next to Flói hall).
