Samúel Jón Samúelsson

Samúel Jón Samúelsson has been a mainstay on the Icelandic music scene for decades. He has worked with countless groups and individual artists as a musician, arranger or co-composer. A few examples of bands and people he has worked with are Jagúar, Tómas R. Einarsson, Hjálmar, Ásgeir, Uniimog, Junius Meyvant, Sigurrós, Reykjavík Big Band, Páll Óskar, Jimi Tenor, Erlend Oye, Guðrið Hansdóttir, Retro Stefson, Sálin, Stuðmenn and many more.

SJS has also worked as music producer in television, theatre, movies, commercials as well as working in radio and as a d.j. in Reykjavík’s bars and clubs.
