Patrycja’s word:

I’m a drummer, composer, mushroom & nature lover from Warsaw, Poland and currently based in Gdansk.

I regularly perform on Polish and European jazz stages, occasionally also beyond my native continent (International Jazz Festival in Uzbekistan, Athens Jazz Festival (Greece), Jazzahead (Germany), the Better Life Tour in Slovenia, Italy and Croatia, Vinnytsia Jazz Festival, Lviv Jazz Days (Ukraine), Opus Jazz Club (Hungary), the Jazz Jantar Festival, NOSPR (Poland), Copenhagen and Aarhus Jazz Festival (Denmark), Oslo Jazz Festival (Norway), Tallinn Music Week (Estonia) and many more).

I am proud to co-create bands such as the Polish-Ukrainian female quartet O.N.E., the Polish-Norwegian quartet PESH, the punk jazz trio
Ninja Episkopat, the international jazz-rock Björg Blöndal’s C4THERINE and Øyvind Mathisen’s Trio.

I also take part in many other musical projects ( e.g. the performance at the Oslo Jazz Festival with Paal Nilssen Love’s “Large Ensemble”); and from the borderline of various artistic fields (e.g. cooperation on the performance with Marta Ziółek on “One Woman Show” at the Center for Contemporary Art in the Castle Ujazdowski).

I host a radio broadcast, “Rozmowy Przegrane”, with Kamila Drabek on the Internet radio JAZZKULTURA.

I began my musical education in Warsaw, went through my studies at the Krzysztof Penderecki’s Music Academy in Kraków, graduated from the Norwegian Music Academy in Oslo and currently, I am doing the Masters Degree at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk.

See you at the Workshop!
