Fríkirkjan í Reykjavík has been a partner of the Reykjavík Jazz Festival for many years, hosting numerous events as part of the festival. This year, Fríkirkjan will offer a jazz mass at 2:00 PM on September 1st. The event will feature performances by the choir Sönghópurinn við Tjörnina and the band Mantra, along with special guests. They will perform a mix of hymns and ballads, and there will also be hymn improvisations on a remote-controlled pipe organ.
