CITY HALL – LUDVIG KÁRI 4TET

This free event is scheduled for the third day of Reykjavik Jazz Festival. It will take place in the City Hall beside the town lake ‘Reykjavíkurtjörn’. Click here to buy tickets for the evening concerts.

The Ludvig Kári 4tet plays icelandic jazz fusion composed by band leader and vibraphonist Ludvig Kari Forberg.

The rest of the quartet is made up by the a star studded selection of local and international jazz musicians with Phillip J. Doyle (US) on tenor saxophone, Stefán Ingólfsson (IS) on electric bass and Einar Scheving (IS) on drums.

Ludvig Kari Forberg hails from Reykjavík but all the music presented at the concert was written in the north of Iceland making it a truly Icelandic jazz fusion influenced by a variety of styles in the world of international jazz music.
