Siggi Flosa and the Soul Patrol (IS)

Please note! Evening pass is available for each night of the festival at Harpa Concert Hall. The pass is valid for all concerts on the night. Tickets are not sold for individual concerts in Harpa.

The Soul Patrol is a jazz/blues crossover project led by saxophonist Sigurdur Flosason who is the composer of all music and lyrics performed by the group. Apart from Sigurdur who plays saxophone, the band features Þórir Baldursson on Hammond-organ, Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson on guitar, Einar Scheving on drums, Erik Tengholm on trumpet and Samúel J. Samúelsson on trombone.

The concert is a release party for two records released during Covid time entitled “Cyanide” from 2021 and “Criminal intent” from 2022. The records feature seven well known singers. Six of them will be a part of this concert: Helgi Björnsson, Andrea Gylfadóttir, KK, Friðrik Ómar, Stefán Hilmarsson og Rebekka Blöndal. The lyrics create a world where many of the characters are small-time criminals, psychopaths, stalkers or hopeless drunks. The diversity of human sexual behaviour comes into play as does good old love. Not everything is strictly legal or moral! The concert is sponsored by the SUT foundation.
