City Library – History of European Jazz

A couple of free events are scheduled for the fifth day of Reykjavik Jazz Festival. This is one of them and it will take place in the City Library in Grófin. Click here to buy tickets for the Anita O’Day tribute concert in the afternoon.

Vernharður Linnet talks about the book The History of European Jazz which was published last year. Vernharður wrote the chapter on Iceland and will share some interesting facts with the audience as well as playing audio clips from historical Icelandic jazz recordings.
