CITY HALL – Up and coming

This free event is scheduled for the second day of Reykjavik Jazz Festival. It will take place in the City Hall beside the town lake ‘Reykjavíkurtjörn’. Click here to buy tickets for the evening concerts.

A few ensembles of up and coming musicians take to the stage. These are ensembles from local music schools in the neighboring towns of Garðabær, Hafnafjörður, Reykjanesbær and Mosfellsbær. Jazz and other types of rhythmic music are really booming in various music schools around the country at the moment and we are happy to get to listen to a few examples.
